Extinct depicts a future culture whereby feminism has completely undermined the God-ordained purpose of boyhood. Childhood is no longer a time of play and creativity in preparation for leadership, fatherhood, and manhood. All things masculine are considered archaic, useless, and held in disdain. Set in a museum of natural history in the future, a young boy finds himself caught between the mandates his culture designed and his hidden yearnings to be the boy that God designed.
