Just remember, that you need to be a part of the community, don’t just link to people and expect them to buy what you are selling or even care who you are. Help them with their problems, show them what you do then eventually they will know who you are based on your knowledge and abilities.

Twitter is a great tool for keeping in contact with friends and family and is also a great place to promote your business. Be careful not to push your sales to much, add important information that will make people feel like you are worth following, then when you talk about your business the will be more apt to listen.
